Overall Refund, cancellation and date changes terms and conditions

Policy Purpose:

 

At Touring Regal, we aim to provide you with exceptional service and flexibility. Because of that, to maintain the efficiency of our operations and ensure the availability of our vehicles and chauffeurs, we have established the following Cancellation and Change Policy.

 

Key Definitions:

 

Company: When this policy mentions “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our,” it refers to Touring Regal, (Costa Rica, Liberia, Liberia. Del plantel de Pulmitan, 250 mts West and 25 North.), that is responsible for your information under this Privacy Policy.

Customer: Refers to the company, organization or person that signs up to use the Touring Regal Service to manage the relationships with your consumers or service users.

Device: Any internet connected device such as a phone, tablet, computer or any other device that can be used to visit Touring Regal and use the services.

Service: Refers to the service provided by Touring Regal as described in the relative terms and on this platform.

You: A person or entity that is registered with Touring Regal to use the Services.

 

Refund Policy:

 

At Touring Regal, we are committed to ensuring the satisfaction of our valued customers. We understand that there may be circumstances in which you may need to request a refund for our transportation services. This refund policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be granted and the process for requesting a refund.

As with any shopping experience, there are terms and conditions that apply to transactions at Touring Regal. The main point to remember is that by placing an order at www.touringregal.com, you agree to the terms set forth below along with Touring Regal Privacy Policy and Touring Regal Refund, Cancellation and Date Changes policy.

Reasons for Refunds:

 

1. Cancellation 48 Hours Before Trip: If you cancel your reservation 48 hours or more before the scheduled trip, you will receive a 80% reimbursement. NOTE: Please be aware that a 100% reimbursement for cancellations made 48 hours before the trip is subject to an additional fee. To qualify for this enhanced reimbursement policy, customers will need to pay this fee at the time of booking. This option allows for maximum flexibility and peace of mind in case your travel plans change.

2. Cancellation Less Than 48 Hours Before Trip: If you cancel your reservation within 48 hours or less of the scheduled trip, a cancellation fee of 100% will be charged due to incurred administrative expenses. NOTE: Same day cancellations are considered as CUSTOMER NO SHOW.

 

3. Customer No Show: If you were unable to communicate with the chauffeur or one of our customer service representatives to cancel the trip in a timely manner, typically on the same day of the commitment, you (the client) will be charged 100% of the fee.

 

4. Chauffeur No Show: If a chauffeur is unable to present themselves for your trip, and we are unable to arrange for an alternative driver, you will be reimbursed 100% of the fee. NOTE: We will make every effort to find a replacement driver, but this will depend on our availability.

 

5. Natural Disasters and Unforeseen Circumstances: In cases where natural disasters, extreme weather conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances prevent us from providing the service, you will receive a 100% reimbursement. Examples of such circumstances include extreme weather conditions, declared "Estados de emergencia nacional" (National Emergency State) by the Costa Rican government, road closures, or any situation where it would be negligent to risk the lives of our customers and personnel.


Refund Process:

 

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

 

  1. Visit our Refund Request Page (link)

  2. Provide documentation of the debit associated with our invoice in your financial records.

  3. Include Touring Regal unique service tracking number corresponding to your reservation.

  4. Concisely state the grounds for your refund request.

 

Kindly be aware that our dedicated team will require approximately five up to seven business days to conduct a thorough review of the provided information and subsequently furnish you with an estimated timeframe for the reimbursement. It is imperative to acknowledge that the actual duration for the reimbursement to be reflected in your account may vary based on the reimbursement policies stipulated by your financial institution.

 

Refund Amount:

 

The amount eligible for reimbursement may vary, and it is contingent upon the refund reasons stipulated in the policy. We are committed to providing a refund that aligns with the specific circumstances detailed in your refund request and the reasons articulated within our policy.

 

Date Change Policy:

 

1. Change of Dates: Should you need to change the dates of your transfer, we will make every effort to accommodate your request. However, please be aware of the following considerations:

 

2. Chauffeur Availability: Changes in dates may depend on chauffeur availability. While we strive to accommodate your new schedule, we cannot guarantee the availability of the same chauffeur for the new dates.

3. Weather Conditions: In cases of extreme weather conditions or circumstances that may affect the safety of the transfer, we may need to reschedule the service for your safety and that of our chauffeurs.

4. Additional Costs: Changes in dates may incur additional costs based on factors such as chauffeur availability, vehicle scheduling, and any applicable fare differences. We will provide you with a detailed breakdown of any additional charges resulting from date changes.

5. Other Considerations: In addition to the mentioned considerations, please note that any changes to the originally agreed-upon itinerary, including additional stops or route modifications, may also result in additional costs. We will communicate any such costs to you in advance to ensure transparency and your agreement.
